Intern for the IBLC this legislative session!
The deadline to apply for 2025 Internships in the Indiana General Assembly is Oct. 31.
Throughout the legislative session that begins in January, college students and recent graduates have the opportunity to work alongside state representatives and their staff at the Indiana Statehouse in Indianapolis. The partisan internship is a full-time, paid opportunity offered in the policy, communications, fiscal analysis, publications, Indiana Black Legislative Caucus (IBLC) and member services divisions. Internships are available in both the House and the Senate.
The IBLC encourages you to apply to out 2025 Internship. As an intern for the IBLC you will:
Assist with event planning and staffing for events that the Black Legislative Caucus hosts
Assist with Black Legislative Caucus meetings including taking detailed notes and preparing minutes for future meetings
Perform all the duties of a Legislative and Constituent Services intern
